They're very tame ...

So, if you meet on a walk ...

They're very happy ...

To stop and talk ...

But ...

Their chat is much the same

Every day ...

"Anything to eat??"

And, if you say: "No" ...

They're a little bit miffed ...

And, off they go ...

To find someone else ...

More pliable ...

Reliable ...

Someone more likely ...

To have seeds and nuts ...

And, who'll happily donate them

To hungry squirrels ...

With no 

"If's", 

"Perhaps's", 

"Maybe later's"

Or

 "But's" ...
