I have measured out my life with analgaesia ...

In attempt to quell the pain that is M.E.

Various kinds of pain are overwhelming ...

Didn't think this was how my life would be ....

But reality intruded very rudely ...

When all the hopes and dreams I had had fled ...

I had not thought I'd spend so much time ...

Silent ... isolated ...

I had not thought I'd spend so much time ...

In, or on, my bed ...

So, I measure out my life with analgaesia ...

In attempt to quell the many kinds of pain ...

I try to hold to hope - maybe futile ...

That, one day, I might live my life ...
