Although you wouldn't know it.

He's funny, bright, and witty,
80???  

Doesn't show it!

We've known each other for quite a while
And, although we'll never meet …

I always feel that he's quite near,
Living in my street.

We talk of ME research,
And many other things …

I always hope to meet him, 
But ME must improve ...

And, if it doesn't, nothing for it …
Well, he'll just have to move!!**
