Dear Emma, when we met again,

The decades rolled away.

30 years? Impossible!

Surely – just the other day?

What a joy to see you,

And re-live happy times,

Spent together here in Wales

And, of course, in Heidenheim.

Re-visiting happy memories

Of laughter, fun and smiles.

Time itself just disappeared,

As did separating miles.

Although physically missing,

Edna and Gunther were nearby,

Enjoying Kaffee und Kuchen ....
