My dear friend, Jean, is 90!

Although you wouldn't know it ...

She's witty, bright and funny ...

90??? Doesn't show it!

We've known each other for many years

And, although we can't now meet ...

I always feel that she's still near,

Living in my street.

We "talk" of books and nature ...

And many other things ...

And cabbages - and kings - " ...

I'd really love to visit

But ME must improve ...

And, if it doesn't, nothing for it ...

She'll just have to move!!*
