LOCKDOWN LIFE

I do miss going shopping.

Haven't been for nearly a year.

It used to be so easy

But, now, we live with fear.

Something we did, without thinking.

We didn't give it a thought.

Now, we have to consider:

"Does that REALLY need to be bought?"

And, of course, I'm very grateful

That food is delivered to home.

But, it's not the same as

Ramblin' round shops -

It's a human need - to roam!

So, when we are able to shop again,

My soul and spirit will sing.

Who would have thought that

Choosing a cheese

Would be such an enjoyable thing!
