From 30-plus degrees

To 19??   Oh, yes please!!

And a chilly, cool breeze.

To those who love sun…..

You’ve had a summer of fun,

For months, we’ve had none.

So, it’s fair and right,

We should have some respite

From ME sun-blight.

If sun should return,

At least I won’t burn,

I’ll turn into a fern….

Hiding in shade,

In woody glade.
