FOR KATY
There's a big ginger
cat in the garden,
But he doesn't
belong to us.
We don't know how he
gets here.
Does he walk – or
take a bus?
We see him nearly
every day,
He likes to climb
our tree.
He doesn't seem too
hungry,
Though he likes some
milk at three.
He's quite a little
character,
And often says:
“Hello”.
So we just sit and
chat to him,
And hate to see him
go.
But, although it's sad to see him leave,
It's only a fleeting sorrow.
Because we know, very well,
He'll be back again tomorrow!
But, although it's sad to see him leave,
It's only a fleeting sorrow.
Because we know, very well,
He'll be back again tomorrow!
