TO MIKE AND LOU

For Roly

I know Roly-Poly's been poorly,

And had a serious operation.

He’s now much better

But, while recovering,

His stitches were a source

Of endless fascination.

He tried to lick 'em, chew 'em,

Bite 'em, pull 'em,

And, eventually,

Mike and Lou had enough.

So they bought him

A wonderful onesie,

Crowned by

An elegant ruff!

Roly wasn’t happy,

But it did the trick,

And now, he’s totally well

Once more.

Looking forward to running

Mike and Lou ragged

Along Pembrokeshire’s

Beautiful, stunning sea-shore!
