As we're Irish, we get on well together ...
We'll laugh, and drink, and will not have a care ...
If I ever go across the sea to N.Y...
I'll drink with Pauline, out there on her deck ...
We will chat, and damn M.E.to hell-fire
...
...We might say: "Gracious me!" or "What the heck!" ...
But it's unlikely that I will ever go there ...
As M.E. keeps me tethered near my bed ...
