Today, the sky is light and bright ...

And a beautiful, heavenly blue ...

The air is still ...

With a hint of chill ...

And I know what I'd like to do ...

Go for a walk in "my" lovely park ...

I've not been there for SO long ...

But I know I can't ... 

I'm not that strong ...

So, I have to stay home ... 

And write a sad song ...

But I hope I can go there ... 

Before very long ...

Because Nature is restoring ... 

It helps me to cope ...

To be near trees ... 

With their rustling leaves ...

Gives me peace, and ease ...

And the prospect of hope.
