TO M.E.? OR NOT TO M.E.??
TO M.E.? OR NOT TO M.E.??
Dedicated To All My Dear M.E. Friends
Quote from Dr. Asad Khan, Respiratory Consultant suffering from Long Covid: "LongCovid sufferers- we are at high risk of developing #MECFS. Many of us already fit the criteria. We need to acknowledge this & join forces with our #ME cousins to demand proper research & treatment. I’m fed up with LC exceptionalism- we do not have a ‘superior’ illness."
With me, M.E. started with
Infection of Upper Respiratory Tract ...
I know ...
It hardly rolls off the tongue ...
But it IS the truth ...
It is the fact.
We know so well, when we say "M.E." ...
Some think: "malingerers" ...
And get quite shirty ...
So, in future, I'm thinking I might say:
"My problem??
Ohhh, I have Long URTI" ...
