SPRINGTIME

Graceful snowdrops droop their heads,

Trying to keep warm?

Or perhaps they're still in shock,

After the recent storm.

Crocuses in lilac and white,

Such a pretty springtime sight.

Their showier sisters, daffodils,

Dressed in green – and yellow frills.

And soon the dainty bluebells,

Will perfume woods and shady dells.

Springtime is a new beginning,

Spring flowers set the spirit singing.....
