FOR RICHARD AND MONICA

I love little hedgehogs,

How they snuffle and shuffle.

They're good little animals,

They don't make a kerfuffle.

We've two in the garden,

We saw them last night.

But they scuttled away,

When we turned on the light.

So, although they live with us,

We don't quite know where.

We just hope they're happy

In their little lair.

We hope that they're cosy,

Comfy and snug,

And we hope that they'll help us

To “Hunt Down the Slug”!
